Maryland Sound and Image’s Engineering Department is staffed with degreed engineers in the field of architectural sound, video and electronics. Ours is a business of physics and math. Using a wide range of sophisticated techniques from calculating sound processing levels, to studying specifications and limitations of speakers, amplifiers and projection systems, we transform our clients' specifications into finished projects that create a positive, lasting impression. The Engineering Department runs the latest versions of AutoCAD, AcoustaCADD, EASE, Axcess, PC Touch and MLSSA. The department is networked with state-of-the-art computer systems that are networked so that all engineers are interacting with each other to ensure that the Maryland Sound and Image design is the best it can be.
